Grumble @ Comfort Inn
We stayed in a Comfort Inn over the weekend to see my parents in Toledo. Everything was fine at the hotel. It was a little old and worn, but had clean sheets every day, good service, tasty continental breakfast (they even had a waffle iron and hard-boiled eggs!).
Upon return to Pittsburgh, I noticed I'd forgotten my cellphone charger. I called them up and told them my room number and it turned out when they find cellphone chargers they just toss them in a box. They're asking me what kind of charger I have - but my cellphone is a "Verizon" and I eventually (after the call), had to pry off the battery cover to find the model number. I tell them it's got an off oval end and a wide part that plugs into the phone.
The girl at the desk asked if I could drop by to look at them. *sigh*. If I lived in Toledo, I would have just gone over there, but if I lived in Toledo probably wouldn't have been staying at Comfort Inn!
No complaints about the actual service while I was at the Comfort Inn on Alexis in Toledo - it was a nice stay! But could they at the very least tag each thing in Lost & Found by the frickin' room number?

That's the same Comfort Inn where Rob and I accidentally left a phone charger a couple years ago.
They told us the same thing. |
