HAH! That's awesome. I never made the connection :)
I remember watching the first episode of the second series and going "It's Ned Ryerson!!". Groundhog Day is one of my favorite movies. I also have to plug the similarly themed Replay by Ken Grimwood, too - a guy who keep repeating from being 18 to a heart attack in his 40's repeatedly. Good read!
